Welcome to the shop of AUREUS butterflies & insects

My name is Jens Jakusch and I´m the owner of this internet-shop.

My shop is made for all butterfly-, beetle-, and insect-collectors, which are professional collectors or are only interested in butterflies, beetles and insects.



In general, I offer butterflies and beetles (also some other insects), prepared or unprepared, in frames or classical without frames, prepared on needles.

On the left side, you will find the navigation to this shop.



Under the section “Suche” (search), you can search for a special specie of butterfly or beetle. Please enter the name of the specie, you are looking for and start the searching.



Under the section “Schmetterlinge” (butterflies), you will find the main store of all butterflies, I can offer. After you have entered this section, you can choose in the navigation on the left side, which group or family of butterflies you would like to see.



Under the section “Insekten” (insects), you can see all the other insects, we can offer in the shop. Here you will find beetles, scorpions, dragonflies etc.



If you are interested in buying butterflies in frames, you have to take a look at the section “Schmetterlingsrahmen” (butterflies in frames). There you will find in the main part the possibility to choose between acrylic frames (mostly small and not high pricey frames), wood frames (diffenent sizes) and design-frames (black and white frames, bigger ensemble etc.).



Under the section “Bücher” (books), you can find some interesting entomological books, I can offer to you.



Under “Aktuelles” (actual), you will find the dates of insectfairs, which you can meet us.

If you wish to buy some items of your store, you can put them into the shoppingbasekt with just using the red bottom “in den Warenkorb” nearby the item you would like to buy. After you have finished, you can go back to your shoppingbasekt in the headline under the icon “Warenkorb”. There you have to enter your address and your country for the shipment under the space for your adress. Please enter under “Ort” your country for the shipment!

Also very necessary: please enter you email-adress that we can contact you for any questions.

Terms and Conditions

• All prices are in Euros.

• All material is A1 unless otherwise stated.

• As complete data as possible will accompany each specimen.

• All insects offered are dead. We offer dried prepared and unprepared insects. If you wish to buy prepared butterflies, please take a look at “Schmetterlinge” and “Insekten”. For unpapered insects (butterflies, beetles or other bugs), please take a look at “Unpräpariert”. Under this section, you wil find several insects unprepared.

• Payment may be made by: Bank Transfer, Western Union, Paypal, Bank Draft (+15 euros for cheques of non-German banks). After your order, you will get and invoice in which you will find the necessary informations for the bank transfer (Iban / Swift) or for Paypal-payment. For other kind of payment, please contact us separately.

• Payments must be made before shipping

• Payment, including postage, should accompany each order unless other arrangements have been made.

• Orders are processed on a first come first served basis.

• All material is guaranteed with the exception of antennae damage due to postal shock.

Shippment

Postage and Packing will be added to all orders and is charged to you at cost. For all international order, we will add 5 Euro for any shipment, no matter how many items you will buy.

Quality code

A1 = As perfect as all reasonable expectations dictate. Many today are ex-pupae bred.

A1- = Very small flaws, nearly perfect.

A- =More noticeable flaws, maybe broken antennae, reparations, but generally good presentation specimens.

B = Second quality.

CITES

For CITES butterflies, especial for export in the USA, there will be a handling fee of 25 Euro, which we will add to your order. For the procedure of the import to your country, we will contact you after your order and inform you about “the way to do”.
